10/18/16 Master Class at the Apollo

Master Class continues the legacy of the Apollo as a place where artists and entertainers learned informally about the principles and ethics of show business. Master Class workshops provide participants with guidance on the basic elements of their craft, and topics such as personal presentation in the public arena, business considerations, and marketing and publicity. Comedian and author Leighann Lord leads this three- hour intensive workshop on stand-up comedy. The workshop will cover creating and selecting material, delivery and stage presence.
