HIRE LEIGHANN TO SPEAK
Dear Fellow Caretaker

Years ago I read an article in the New York Times: "Suddenly, They're All Gone." I read it before I was ready; before my Parents' lives changed; before our roles began reversing. I curled up on the couch and cried. I was horrified and terrified; so much so that I can't re-read it, even now. But I've included a link to it below in the list of articles for you because I think it's an important read. It gave me a glimpse into a future I never expected. It was the "Game of Thrones" equivalent of "Winter is coming" whilst I was still a child of summer. I haven't lost my sunshine (I fight for it every day), but I am learning to manage and appreciate the seasons, and I hope you are too.
