WOW! The Color of Comedy event at The Museum of the Moving Image was fan-f**king-tastic! Seeing Harry Belafonte's "A Time for Laughter: A Look at Negro Humor in America" was very educational and a great jumping off point for the panel of some of New York City's Funniest; true vets in the game. Moderator Warrington Hudlin opened up the floor and made it a community forum where the audience interacted with us and asked some great questions. Unfortunately, there is never enough time to say all the things that need be said and we could ALL still be talking.
One of my favorite post-panel moments was getting a chance to meet Terry Carter. But addressing him as I first met him in my childhood I said, "Hello, Colonel Tigh." He was surprised that someone so young (ahem) would know him. But my geek runs deep! You original Battlestar Galactica fans will understand that my inner scifi fan is dancing with the mythical Lords of Kobol. And my delight is compounded only by the fact that Mr. Carter is a lovely man and a joy to talk too. So Say We All!
