Relax Relate Release: Investing In My Equanimity

I went on a five-day women’s retreat to The Mountain (North Carolina) and it was both peaceful and exhilarating. Making time to get away, to rest and recharge, is an integral and non-negotiable part of my self-care now. 

I sat around a blazing bonfire getting acquainted with amazing Sisters from all over the country. 

I got the opportunity to go zip-lining for the first time. EXCITING!

I walked underneath a waterfall. SPECTACULAR!

I played spades (where the deuce of diamonds wasn’t a spade). HERESY!

I went hiking and jumped double dutch. (Did you hear me? I. Jumped. Double Dutch! Scroll down to peep the video.)

I also got to sit down and do nothing but watch the sunrise. Humbling.
