I Didn't Win ... But I Kinda Did

I was one of the five national finalists of the ABFF-HBO Comedy Wings competition. I didn’t win, but I can’t stop smiling. This has been an amazing experience from start to finish. My congratulations to the winner and runner-up. As I have said the entire time, I feel like this has all been a big win because they - the audience, the industry, the filmmakers, my fellow creatives and content producers - can’t un-see me. 

To walk out on that stage and feel the amazing energy from such a loving and supportive crowd; what could be better? We artists put our creativity out in the world for consumption and judgement on the daily. Not easy stuff. So, to be seen. To be acknowledged; we need that as human beings and as artists. And so, thank you for your attention, support, and recognition.
