As I said on-stage, I needed this show tonight. I can't thank you ladies (Lois and Shelly) enough for being there to lend an ear and offer grown-ass woman advice on the vagaries of adult life. You lightened my load by listening and I am grateful. It was also nice to be in the room and hear other comics I adore (Charles McBee) get up there and explore and play and rock, and then have the opportunity to do the same. (I will have to develop My Egg story.) Crazy as it sounds: Standup is my safe space.  Such a fun night with these chicks at Brooklyn Heights Comedy! (They don’t know it, but they are an integral part of the #LeighannLordSanityReclamationProject) #INeededThis #ComedyTherapy
