I'm pleased to announced that I've completed my training and I am hopefully on my way to being certified by the Center For Inquiry as a Secular Celebrant! A Secular Celebrant is someone who officiates at weddings, relationship commitments, memorials, baby namings, and other milestones of life observances. It gives nonreligious people an option (other than a clergy member) to conduct a ceremony more closely aligned with their nonreligious world view.
